The next few poems are dedicated to my mother.  I was 11 years old when she died from injuries sustained in and automobile accident.  She was only 37 years old when she died.  Everyday that I get closer to her age, I realize how young she really was and how much I was still a baby!  I will always love her and I will never forget her!

In Memory of My Mother

A Million Times

A million times I needed you,
A million times I've cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life, I loved you dearly.
In death, I love you still.
For in my heart you hold a place
No one else could ever fill.
He opened up the Garden Gate
He saw you needed rest.
God's Garden must be beautiful...
Cause He always picks the best.
